About the Location
De Korenbloem Mill is an authentic grain mill in the heart of Ulvenhout. The history of this site dates back to 1835, when a post mill—originally from the Goudberg in Strijbeek—was erected here. After this centuries-old mill unfortunately burned down in 1909, the current belt mill was built that same year. An interesting fact: De Korenbloem has the tallest mill belt in the entire Netherlands!
After several years of inactivity, the mill was proudly put back into operation in 1977, thanks to active municipal policy and a major restoration. Today, the monument is managed by a dedicated foundation. Thanks to a heartwarming wave of support from residents, local businesses, grants, and donations, the entire sail cross was renewed in 2023. With sails measuring no less than 25.50 meters in length (equipped with the Bussel System) and two sets of millstones, the mill is once again operating as it always has, thanks to enthusiastic volunteer millers.

The mill is up and running, and its doors are open to the public! Stop by to see the millers at work and experience the unique atmosphere of this historic landmark.

Practical Information
- The entrance is on Vang Street between house numbers 8 and 10
- De Korenbloem Mill is easily accessible by bike and public transportation, but parking for cars is limited.
