Also this year, you can drive a monumental route yourself in an authentic DAF33 and ’44 from the 60s and 70s, led by a guide. On the way, the guide will tell you through the walkie-talkie about the history of Breda. The DAF is a piece of unique Dutch Heritage and (unfortunately) now automotive history.
Tours are at 10:45 / 12:00 / 13:30 / 14:45 / 16:00 (max. 4 persons per DAF)
- Before departure at the pick-up point you will receive a statement of indemnity that must be completed.
- Per DAF, four people can board. One of these four participants may get behind the wheel to drive the DAFje itself (if in possession of a valid driver’s license).
- It is unfortunately not possible to let every passenger drive. But we assure you that even the ride along is quite an experience!
- We expect everyone to agree on who will get behind the wheel and follow the instructions of our volunteers.
- In order to make the best possible arrangement (who has a driving license and who does not), it is possible that you will not be seated in your own group in the DAF.
- Our guide Marcel will be at the front of the group.
- Guide Marcel will drive ahead and give explanations.
- A total of 18 people can ride each time.
Babies and children who must be transported in a car seat can not go along.
