That boyhood dreams sometimes come true is demonstrated by the realization of Brewery de Beyerd. With this, De Beyerd restored a piece of lost Breda tradition in 2004. Where brewery ‘De Drie Hoefijzers’ was established on Boschstraat in 1628, just under 400 years later the brewing craft has returned to the street. ‘Drie Hoefijzers Klassiek’ is therefore the first beer brewed here according to original recipe. The copper brew kettles and open fermentation vats give both the brewery and the associated restaurant a particularly nostalgic atmosphere.
