Even true Britons don’t know how to find the Lutheran Church (1784). Between a café and a store in Veemarktstraat, you’ll find a gate leading to a hidden courtyard. It is still Breda’s only hidden church in function as a church building. Underneath the church is one of Breda’s oldest preserved kitchens with original nail tiles. Now the church is a place for reflection, conversation and culture.
Dance performance ‘Where you come out when you leave’
On both days experience the new performance by dance company The100Hands.
Three people find each other in a world of doors. Behind every door is a world, but no matter how many times they leave, it seems they always end up back together and with the audience at Lutheran Church. Visual tricks, physical dance and slapstick-like scenes suck you into a magical quest for where you end up when you leave.
The performance is free to attend on Saturday AND Sunday at noon and 3 p.m. (40 min.).
